Mr. Moberly began writing his 'Business IP and Intangible Asset Blog' in mid-summer, 2008.  Since that time, his 'blog' has found readers in 65 countries and 41 states.  Mike personally writes each blog and conducts his own research.  He says, excluding a daily research regimen on a range of issues related to intangible assets and intellectual property, actually writing and posting a blog generally requires about two hours. 

Mike tries to write 2-3 blog posts per week depending on his schedule.  Typically, his workday begins at 4:00 a.m. in which he 'frames out' that day's blog post.  Then off to his favorite Starbucks, arriving by 5:30 a.m. when they open, where he writes and posts his blogs which he tries to complete by 7:30 or 8:00 a.m.

Condensing the message to less than a page, selecting issues/topics that have current relevance and explaining why they're relevant, and sometimes being provocative, yet always respectful in your writing style, are some of the keys to building readership.

'Business IP and Intangible Asset Blog' readers will rountinely find Mike's blog posts landing on page one of Google, something he attributes to the original content of each post.
