In my relatively small niche of the intangible asset business world, it’s routine to engage experienced and seemingly successful management teams who cavalierly express the view that it’s impossible to eliminate all (business) risk.

There may be few better uses of SME management team’s time than to ensure their company’s intangible assets are effectively managed, profitably exploited, and firmly embedded in their company’s operating processes and culture.
Managing and safeguarding a company’s intellectual capital is a business necessity and fiduciary responsibility and not an option nor a luxury.
